River Valley Ranch

Improvements

The ranch is modestly but but very functionally improved.  The newest of five houses on the property is a 2,600 +/- square foot modular home that the current owner erected in 2004.  This home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and is a beautiful home in great condition.  This residence joins the old Fitter homestead house, which is still funtional, and an original barn and outbuilding.  The entire compound is immediately adjacent to the Red Rock River.  Approximately one quarter of a mile from the compound is a spring fed pond which is used extensively by waterfowl.

There are a number of buildings located on the Moss Place near the pivot ground.  The manager's residence contains 1,500 +/- square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.  This home was built in 1964.  A second modular home of 1,500 +/- square feet, located just down from the manager's residence, is used for guests or temporary help such as a night calver.

One other home is found on the ranch; a two bedroom and one bathroom home on the Taft Place which is functional and in need of modest improvements.  There is a barn/shop with a warm room, a machine Quonset building, and a small barn.  There are also steel corrals with cattle loading facilities, a 15,000 lb livestock scale, and numerous stock tanks located throughout the property.
